OPEA members and staff launched the Beckham County Chapter at a meeting at the Beckham County DHS in Sayre, OK on Tuesday, March 22nd.
"We had a fantastic group of state employees from DHS as well as the Health Department," said OPEA Membership Representative Rebecca Burgin.. "This wonderful group was excited to become more involved in OPEA."
Participants in the meeting elected a great group of officers, who are excited to get to work. They also discussed current legislation, and how important it is to keep in constant contact with their legislators.
"We are excited to see what exciting things come from this office and their great members!" concluded Burgin.
