New Bylaws & Election Rules

UPDATE!!!

The election period for voting on your regional director will be January 15th through January 29th.  Results will be announced February 3rd.

OPEA members will be able to choose among three methods when voting this year.

"We are working with VR Election Services to provide a more efficient election process to members.  You will receive a packet in the mail with instructions on how to vote by Internet, phone or mail," said OPEA Policy and Research Director Trish Frazier.  "It's very simple, just follow the instructions."

Watch for the voting packet in the mail.  The OPEA logo and the message:  "Urgent! Voting Materials Inside" will be on the envelope.  Voting instructions, with a toll-free help line and email help desk will be available.

You may vote online or by phone using your personal secure number provided in the packet.  Another option is to return the paper ballot using the enclosed postage-paid envelopes.  However, voting by phone or internet will save OPEA a significant amount of money.

The excitement is building as OPEA’s new organizational structure went into effect January 1! You can help steer the Association into the future by voting for the candidate you feel is best qualified to represent your district.
