Chapter Leaders Attend Annual OPEA Convention

In order to begin their effort to become a star chapter in the upcoming year, several OPEA chapter leaders attended the 2010 OPEA Annual Convention. Three chapters were awarded star chapter at this year’s convention: Tulsa OESC, Crossroads OKDHS and Muskogee County. However seeing the momentum of several newly formed chapters it is apparent the number could be much larger next year.

Members from the following chapters were present at the 2010 OPEA Annual Convention: Rogers County, Kay County, Garfield County, Muskogee County, Tulsa State Office Building, Tulsa OESC and Crossroads OKDHS.

This activity shows the enthusiasm OPEA members have for becoming active in OPEA chapters. The grassroots activity in OPEA is beginning to grow and excitement and involvement in OPEA is growing as a result.

Chapter members from the Cal Hobson Chapter, Garvin County Chapter and Cleveland County Chapter were there as well.
