The newest chapter in Region 6 was formed on Wednesday March 23 by workers from the McClain County DHS and OJA. Nine current members were joined by three new recruits to sign the charter to become officially recognized as the McClain County Chapter.

There was a lively discussion among the members present about the issues at the Capitol that the OPEA is working for on their behalf. All of the members were very appreciative of the efforts of the OPEA at protecting their benefits. They were also interested in the HSA option that HealthChoice provides and are looking forward to that option once additional details are worked out.
“The leaders of the chapter are very energetic and committed to building their chapter and becoming more involved in OPEA activities through the regional council that was established upon the signing of the charter,” said OPEA Membership Representative Dustin Green.
