OETA addresses public employees compensation on the Oklahoma News Report

Did you know that Oklahoma state workers make, on average, 19 percent less than their private-sector counterparts? When factoring in higher living and transportation costs since the last pay increase in 2006, state employee paychecks are smaller than ever before.

In this piece from OETA's Oklahoma News Report, Bob Sands investigates the issue of improving compensation for state employees. OPEA's Sterling Zearley was interviewed for this story, which you can watch here.

Reporting was well done. Sterling did a good job, in the short time he had in his interfview, stating the OPEA stand and action regarding pay incteases for state employees.
