OPEA HOSTS LAWTON TOWN HALL MEETING

 

Oklahoma City – The Oklahoma Public Employees Association will host a special town hall meeting Tuesday, January 27th, at Lawton’s Cameron University.  The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm in the Wichita Room, located between the Shepler towers, on the Cameron University campus.

 

State Senator Randy Bass (D), Lawton, and State Representative Joe Dorman (D), Rush Springs, will be in attendance, and the public is invited to bring family and friends.  State employees in the Lawton/Comanche County area are encouraged to attend and discuss the need for an across-the-board compensation package during this year’s upcoming legislative session.

 

Other guests include Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Chapter President, Hank Swearingen; OPEA representatives include Executive Director Sterling Zearley, Deputy Director Scott Barger and Membership Representative Brandon Watkins.
