This is the second round of three endorsements OPEAPAC plans on making in the 2008 election cycle. OPEAPAC has won 12 of 13 races it has endorsed in during the current cycle.
The PAC provides political and financial support to candidates for state offices from state employees who believe a new direction regarding state government is needed if Oklahoma’s citizens are to be provided the quality services they desire.
To be eligible to vote in the November 4th election, state employees must have registered by October 10th, 2008. “It is crucial every state employee be a registered, active voter,” said OPEAPAC Director Scott Barger. “Many of these races will be decided by as few as two votes. We need to make sure that the winner supports state employees.”
