Region 6 Event

Region 6 Special Event

Since January Region 6 of the Oklahoma Public Employees Association has been hit hard by VOBOs and RIFs. In an effort to help our valued members in this area, OPEA is hosting a come and go information meeting.

The meeting will be held on Thursday August 19 at the OEC Building in Norman. OEC is located at 242 24th Ave. NW. The meeting will be a come and go and is set to run from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

All state employees are invited to attend. You will have an opportunity to discuss insurance, retirement, and unemployment as well as OPEA membership as a retiree or active employee.

We will also have someone on hand to discuss grievance issues.

Please join us at the first ever meeting of this type.

We are excited to meet with both employees who are no longer employed by the State as well as those who are active employees. Lots of great information will be available regarding upcoming legislative issues and ensuring that all employees retain their benefit package. Come and learn what you can do to help yourself by working with OPEA. Also, we will be providing grievance assistance to state employees who need help with the process. Looking forward to seeing all of you.
