OPEA congratulates member Cheri Mathews for recruiting 18 new members to the association! Mathews is an employee at Tulsa’s DHS Advantage office, and was successful in becoming OPEA’s top recruiter.

“We began this recruitment drive back in January,” said OPEA Deputy Director Scott Barger. “This is away of helping our members offset the furlough days they may be required to take, or just earn some extra spending money. It’s also a way to help build OPEA’s strength as we face one of the worst budget situation’s in recent years.”

The recruitment drive continues through April 15, with $15 paid for each new member you recruit. Only a few weeks remain, so put some cash in your pocket and help your association at the same time!

What a brilliant idea by Scott and the historic field visit by Haley and Jimmy, to the Tulsa OKDHS/AAU office. This is a shining example of how state workers can get united under OPEA and at the same time earn some extra money, by recruiting new members. Mission Accomplished, Sterling!!
