The ballots for the OPEA Presidential Election were mailed July 10 and should have been received by all OPEA members. Votes should be cast by August 8.
Thomas McDonald and Connie Stockton, both long-time OPEA members currently serving on the board of directors, have filed to become the association’s leader.
OPEA is working with VR Election Services to provide a more efficient election process to members. Each member should have received a packet in the mail with instructions on how to vote by internet, phone or mail. Votes by phone or internet save OPEA postage funds.
The election packet has the OPEA logo and the message, “Urgent! Voting Materials Inside” on the envelope. Voting instructions with a toll-free help line and e-mail help desk numbers are inside. If you did not receive a ballot, contact Trish Frazier at trishf@opea.org or 405-524-6764 or toll free 800-880-6732.
