The chapter earned this award for the second consecutive year.  The chapter includes long-time and newly enrolled OPEA members.  Some of the members of this chapter were members at the Radar Center when it closed and moved to Tecumseh to continue their service.   Chapter members attended OPEA Day at the Capitol to take the concerns of state employees and members of their chapter to our state leaders. In addition to their work at their facility to improve employment there, they also conducted an Amazing Race in Tecumseh last fall and wrapped Christmas presents at the Shawnee Mall to raise funds for local non-profits..  To learn about OPEA operations, several chapter members have attended OPEA board meeting.
