We have added a link to Oklahoma’s Merit System Of Personnel Administration Rules governing a Reduction in Force (RIF). The legislature’s’ budget fiasco has created a situation where agencies are proceeding with implementation of a RIF because they don’t know if they will have enough operating money for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2016.
There are very specific steps that agencies must follow. Those rules begin are found at 260: 25-13-1 (Page 82). OPEA is here to assist our members who may be impacted by these agency actions.
