OPEA members from around Oklahoma City gathered at the OPEA office, focused on one goal: electing state employee-friendly candidates in the November election.
OPEA dispatched a dozen members to work in two local campaigns over the weekend. Members took to the streets in Midwest City for House 95 candidate, Michael Walker and in North Oklahoma City House district 99 for Anastasia Pittman.
Representative Pittman thanked each member who walked and dropped literature for her. “If you’re ready for a change,” said Pittman. “I need you to stand with me and other OPEA candidates who will vote with you and for you. You can do that by volunteering to work for a couple of house between now and the election November 4th.”
“We have more opportunities every week,” said OPEAPAC Director Scott Barger. “Watch the website for dates and times or get together a team of coworkers and give us a call. Your participation may very well make the difference.”
