Online registration for the 2013 OPEA Convention and Delegate Assembly is open until noon on Friday August 16th. If you plan on attending and have not registered yet please do so online at 2013 OPEA Convention Registration.
It is important that members from all agencies and regions, as well as retirees, help shape OPEA’s activities during the next year by participating in the convention. Attendees will hear from OPEA leadership about current state-employment issues as well as have an opportunity to approve OPEA platform for the coming year. OPEA bylaws changes will also be considered.
The event is free for members and lunch will be provided. We do ask that members who plan on attending pre-register so we will have an accurate count for lunch. On-site registration, beginning at 8 a.m. on the 24th, will be available for those who attend but don’t pre-register. The convention will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday August 24th at the Moore-Norman Technology Center in Oklahoma City. The center is located at 13301 S. Pennsylvania in Oklahoma City.
