Daniel Lichty, an OKDHS employee from Tecumseh has been appointed by the Region Six council to serve as a director for the remainder of a term expiring in December 2014. He has been a state employee and OPEA member since 2009. Daniel has said his priorities are to increase OPEA membership and to get existing members more involved with OPEA. He also believes that state representatives should be held accountable for their votes and one way to do that is to get persons outside state employment to support state employee issues. He will be sworn in at the September meeting of the OPEA board of directors.
