Earn Cash While Helping OPEA Grow – BOGO

You can help OPEA grow and have some extra cash by recruiting new members to our association. OPEA has started a “Bring One Get One” program where members receive $15 for each new state employee member they recruit.

“OPEA’s ‘BOGO’ program is extremely beneficial for our members. It makes us stronger by enrolling new members and it puts cash in our current members’ pockets,” said OPEA Executive Director Sterling Zearley. “We are stronger when we have new, engaged members helping guide our association and advocating for improvements in state employment.”

To receive credit for recruiting a new member, make sure the applicant writes in your name on the OPEA membership application where it says: “Person who introduced you to OPEA”.  Applicants can apply online at OPEA’s website,  at any OPEA meeting or by contacting the membership team. OPEA will send a check to referring members approximately 30 days after receiving the completed application.

“We are excited about the energy and knowledge that new members will bring with them to our association and we’re ready to mail out a lot of ‘BOGO’ checks,” Zearley said.

If you have any questions, email Director of Policy and Membership Sean Wallace or call the OPEA office at (405) 524-6764.
