Today, OPEA members and staff remember our former Policy Director Trish Payton Frazier who passed away this weekend. Trish retired in 2016 but remained supportive of OPEA, state employees and retirees.
Trish had a heart for the underdog and was active in her church and community. She was also an expert in analyzing legislation and policy to determine its intended,and unintended, impact. She put that gift to work for the betterment of state employees and retirees during her long OPEA tenure.
Please keep her family, husband Jimmy, daughter Caitlin, son Jeffrey, her friends and former coworkers in your prayers. We do not have information on services at this time but will post details when they are available.
We will miss her but are thankful for her great contributions toward making Oklahoma a better state.
