Legislative Update: Committee Deadline

Thursday, March, 3rd was the house of origin committee deadline for the 2022 legislative session. OPEA has been working at the state Capitol every day to make sure legislation important to state employees get the attention it deserves. The following bills have an impact on state employees and have passed their committee vote and are eligible to be heard by the full chamber. The next legislative deadline is March 24th.

 

HB 3320 – Nicole Miller (R)

Requires the Tourism and Recreation Dept. to create a program allowing full-time state employees to have a two consecutive night stay at a state-operated lodge once per year at a discounted rate.
