The Oklahoma Public Employees Association is proud to welcome Brandon Watkins to the staff as Membership Representative.
Watkins comes to OPEA from the state Department of Human Services where he was a Social Services Specialist II.
“We are very fortunate to have Brandon on our team,” said OPEA Executive Director Sterling Zearley. “He brings a new energy to our superb membership team, and OPEA members are lucky to have him.”
Watkins won the DHS “Award of Excellence” in 2006, and says he is looking forward to putting his skills and talents to work for OPEA.
“OPEA is the working engine that promotes state employees,” Watkins said. “It also facilitates the interaction of state employees with the Legislature, producing a brighter collective future for state employees.”
Watkins will work with OPEA members in Oklahoma’s northwest quadrant.
