Holdenville DHS Employees See Value in Joining OPEA

The Oklahoma Public Employees Association (OPEA) welcomes four of its newest members from the Holdenville Department of Human Services Office: Amanda Davis, Pamela Skipworth, Cathy Justice and David Garlett.

All four agree that OPEA is the only association for state employees.
“I’ve been meaning to join OPEA” said David Garlett. I just never took the time to do it till now.”

Cathy Justice stated “I was a member for a long time before I retired. I’ve come out of retirement and need to join back up. It only makes good sense.”

“My dad has been a state employee for as long as I can remember. Listening to my co-workers has aided my decision to join” said Amanda Davis.

“Being an OPEA member is more than just signing a membership form. Membership means being an active part of a solution which affects state agencies” said OPEA Membership Representative Rick Allen. “We are all in this together. Working as a single unit gives strength to the structuring of an association. Ask your co-workers and local state agency employees what they are doing to help enhance state employees’ situations. Join OPEA today and become part of the solution,” Allen said.
