Public Pension Interim Study Continues

An interim study on public pension continues Tuesday October 29th at 10 a.m. in Room 412c of the Oklahoma State Capitol. The study (Interim Study 13-012)  is chaired by Rep. Randy McDaniel  and is looking at the state’s public retirement systems. OPEA continues to express it’s opinion that the state should not address changes to pensions without improving employee pay. OPEA also opposes shifting the OPERS fund from its current system to a strict defined contribution system.

These meetings are open to the public and the audio can be streamed from the House of Representatives’ website.
