Rader Center Closing Subject of Editorial

The lead editorial in the Tulsa World on Friday, April 15 was about the closing of the L.E. Rader Center, which has served the state well as a center for Oklahoma’s most troubled juvenile offenders. At a recent committee meeting at the Capitol, legislators discussed housing Rader juveniles in detention centers, which will not provide them with the intensive treatment they receive at the Rader Center.
